Home Inspector in Shoreline, WA
I inspect homes throughout Shoreline, just north of Seattle. I’m a Washington State Licensed Home Inspector (#****4230) and take no more than two inspections a day, so I’m never rushing through your home.
Homes in Shoreline
Much of Shoreline was built out in the decades after World War II, so many homes are mid-century ramblers, split-levels and daylight basements, many of them updated over the years. Newer townhomes and infill construction are also going up across the city.
With Link light rail stations now open at NE 148th and NE 185th Streets, Shoreline has updated its zoning to encourage transit-oriented development, so expect more new townhomes and multifamily buildings near the stations.
What I Often Look Closely At
- Older electrical panels and wiring in mid-century homes
- Crawlspaces and basements: moisture, insulation and wood rot
- Past remodels and how they tie into the original house
- Roofs, gutters and moss under mature trees; steep or wet roofs inspected by drone
- Side sewers on older lots, which is why I often recommend a sewer scope
What You Get
